It's been a year since my transplant. I was seeing 20/30 and after stitch removal a month ago my visions is 20/125. My Doc says I have high astigmatism and I'm scheduled for incision procedure next. Just wanted to know if anyone has had this procedure and how was the results. I miss playing golf and driving at night. For 8 months life was so my h better with 20/30 vision and now I'm back to squinting, and going through the can't see to make out anything motions.

Where are located ? its common to do incisions after a transplant to bring down the astigmitisum... it depednds on the amount of correction that can be obtained due to your corneal readings, this can varuy from patient to patient. You may still need glasses or contact lenses afterwards but get a more regular shaped cornea so they work better.

Search on the forum to find past posts, or ask your surgeon if you could talk with his or her past patients.

Good luck!

Wayne
